Our Background
With a passion for bold colours and improving her confidence, Jackie is lively, down to earth and pretty honest in opinion. She has an eye for detail that a lead optician would love and a sense of humour to match.

Jackie has worked with horses all her life and the equestrian business is how she rolls! With hands like shovels, she will often be found singing to the anxious ponies or sharpening her customers clippers. She loves Indian Cuisine and collecting 'things'.....literally, anything that she feels will be useful to herself or someone else
She heads up the village Fete committee and is always on the go.
Jackie had the dream to start her own dress agency and originally wanted to specialise in Occasion Wear, I mean in the countryside there are so many Farmers parties, it made so much sense. When she met Helen, it took over 2 years to realise they shared the same dream with slightly different clothing. That all ironed out, they combined the two sides and Reflection gowns was created.

Helen is the less colourful (clothing wise) of the two but would describe her dress as 'preppy' (timeless and not likely to go out of fashion). Taking a leaf out of Jackie book, she is venturing into the 'exotic' colours these days.

Having been a Registered Nurse, Computer Engineer and then a Director of her own training company. She was no stranger to a computer and can spend hours (much to her husbands annoyance) sitting researching and sourcing gowns. She loves Italian food and gardening but admits to not really knowing one plant from another at the minute.
She can often be heard holding a perfectly reasonable conversation with her 16 year old cat.
Helen always dreamt of owning a bridal shop selling gowns and prom dresses too but never really wanted to commit on her own, sometimes its easier to bounce ideas off someone else. She saw a niche when a couple of friends daughters were getting married and they paid in excess of £2000 on a wedding dress. There must be high end designer dresses that carry a much lower price so after lots of research the sourced them and thats was just the inspiration they both needed, so Reflection Gowns was created, providing a door to every bride to have that incredible dress at a fraction of the cost.
